Group broadcast
Megaphone
Project your voice loudly so a whole group can hear you across the valley.
The megaphone extends the reach of your natural voice across open ground, making it ideal for addressing the whole group at once. Unlike the walkie-talkie it keeps your voice clear, but it needs relatively open space and line of sight to be effective.
How to use the Megaphone
- Best for one-to-many announcements — rallying the group or counting down together.
- Works poorly through walls and terrain; find high, open ground.
- Great for the designated "caller" in a large group.
Remember: in Big Walk the challenge is being understood. Match your tool to the distance and situation, and agree on what each signal means before you need it. See the proximity voice chat guide for the full picture.
